2. PISTOL GRIP ALTERNATIVES
Options like Kydex wraps, fin grips, thumb shelves or the Sparrow Dynamics CRG-15 seen here will allow for various levels of grasp and thumb control while avoiding the DOJ’s pistol grip definition.

3. Lose the flash hider
Install a thread protector, muzzle brake, linear compensator or sound forwarding device instead. The Kaw Valley Precision linear comp seen on the business end of this rifle meets the non-flash hider criteria.

4. SUPPORT HAND OPTIONS
No vertical forward grips. Remove completely or index and secure your support hand with a finger or hand stop like the Strike Industries LINK shown here. Options like barricades and textured rail covers can also be considered.
